Abstract

The research you mentioned regarding pregnant women's knowledge about the benefits of blood supplement (Fe) tablets at the Kaya Manya Community Health Center in Poso, Central Sulawesi, showed several interesting results. Based on the characteristics of the respondents, most of them were aged 20-35 years with most of their education level only reaching elementary school. The main source of information regarding Fe tablets is health workers. One important finding was that most respondents had a poor level of knowledge about the benefits of Fe tablets. With 71.7% of respondents having insufficient knowledge, this indicates a need to increase their understanding of the benefits of blood supplement tablets during pregnancy. The research method, a quantitative descriptive approach, was used to create an objective description of pregnant women's knowledge. A sample of 53 respondents was taken using a total sampling technique, which means that the entire population of respondents who met the inclusion criteria were included in this study. Striking results like these highlight the importance of health education and efforts to increase awareness of pregnant women about the importance of consuming blood supplement tablets during pregnancy. Measures such as outreach campaigns, use of social media, or public health programs can help increase knowledge and awareness about this in the community
