Peran Pendidikan Kesehatan dalam Meningkatkan Kesadaran akan Metode Perhitungan Ovulasi: Studi Kasus di puskesmas Kaya Manya

Abstract

The fertile period for a woman is very important because it supports the realization of a pregnancy program or delaying pregnancy. Lack of understanding about determining the fertile period will result in infertility in couples of childbearing age. This research aims to determine the effect of health education on knowledge about determining the fertile period in women of childbearing age in the working area of ??the Kaya Manya Health Center, Poso. The research design that will be carried out is quantitative with a one-group pre-test and post-test design approach where the sample is given a questionnaire before and after the intervention. The population in this study was 126 people, while the sample in this research was 56 people taken using non-probability sampling techniques. The results of this research were tested using the Paired Samples Test statistical test, it was found that the P-value (0.000) < ? (0.05) means that there is an influence of health education on knowledge about determining the fertile period in women of childbearing age in the working area of ??the kaya manya Health Center, Poso. It is hoped that the recommendations from this research will enable health workers, especially midwives, to socialize/conduct counseling about determining the fertile period for women of childbearing age.
