Abstract

This research aims to explore how the role of the head of the room influences the way nurses carry out rescue tasks, during an ever-changing environment. The research method used was an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using linear regression tests, with statistical significance at the ?<0.05 level. The results of the analysis show that the role of the head of the room has a significant impact on the performance of nurses in various aspects, including planning (p=0.007), organizing (p=0.005), directing (p=0.008), and supervision (p=0.006) in providing care. do. Thus, this research concludes that the role of the head of the room influences the performance of nurses in providing nursing care. Encouraging the development of managerial skills for room heads, providing management training to those who do not yet have certification, and designing a policy for selecting room heads based on competency are important steps to support this.
