Data collection using the form of a questionnaire, stress measurement using a modified questionnaire Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale consisting of 14 items statement. The incidence of gastritis was measured by answering a questionnaire consisting of several questions related to gastritis problems. The results of the statistical test with the chi-square test showed a value of p = 0.002, because the value of p <? = 0.05, meaning that there is a relationship between stress and the incidence of gastritis. This shows that individuals with high stress levels are more at risk of experiencing gastritis symptoms than respondents with low stress levels. The results of the study can be used as a reference in giving nursing implementation in the form of health education about prevention and management of stress to gastritis patients.
